Pantanal

Hi everyone, after Bonito we travelled to the pantanal, the largest wetland in the world (the size of France). It was brilliant, we got to swim in the swamp with parana, camen (small aligators) and possibly anacondas (although we did not see one). So many birds......... a bird watchers paradise. Slept in hammocks, eaten alive by mozi“s, even went horse riding and camoeing thru the swamps. Got a chance to parana fish but could not land the blasted fish (soz Dad). Saw a poor cow killed in camp (we needed the meat and they kill one a month by stabbing the jugular vein, bleeding it to death to drain all the blood and then eating it the same day - delicious.
Moving on from the pantanal, we went to the Brazil border to see the Iguazu falls which are well worth a visit. (which are absolutely spectacular) Got plenty of photos. Also went up in helicopter over the falls ....... amazing. Moved on to Argentina side of falls and spent a further 2 nights there (are leaving for Uraguay today tho). Is full moon so got a unique chance to see devils throat falls in moonlights.
Hope you all well. Lots of love, Jen x x x x x x
