Uruguay

Hi guys

Just a quick note from Uruguay. Havent done to much since the last email. Stayed in a gorgeous place with hot springs (so hot that we almost couldnt bear them). The Kumuka truck (another overland company that we keep running into) parked next to us so we had a bit of a bender with them - great fun. It all started when we took them on in the truck olympics earlier on. We challenged them to a game of football this time and Baz put on a sterling performance scoring 3 goals in the first half then spraining his ancle and having to sit out (he´s almost back to normal now). We won 9-4 or something like that. The party carried on until the early hours and we all left for Montevideo (capital of Uruguay) the next day. We´ve been to a local market where they sell everything form snakes, fish and even turanchulas (spelling??). Then we had lunch at the biggest braai/bbq in the world - I think we had the best lump of steak we have ever eaten. Went out again for supper and misunderstood the waiter and most people ordered 1.5m of pizza, so needless to say, none of us are hungry this morning. Anyway, still having great fun. The group is starting to couple off now, so we´re placing bets.

Off to Colonia tonight then catch ferry tomorrow morning 4:30am to Buenos Aires.
